Overview of Summer Bridge

Summer Bridge is a university-wide program intended to help students prepare for the fall semester.

Specific Information for Veterans Summer Bridge Course

Summer 2021 will be the first veteran-specific course within the Summer Bridge program at UW. The program is an intense 4-week, 4-hour course that orients veteran-students to the academic environment. Rigorous reading and development of math skills will be the focus of the program to ensure that veterans are prepared for more challenging academic courses during the fall semester. There will be orientations to university resources, including the crucial UW Libraries, Student Success Services, and the Dean of Students.

The course will also work to enhance core math skills that are necessary to complete required university courses.
