What is the best way to access the Libraries’ databases from off-campus?

Log on to off-Campus access: https://secure.uwlib.uwyo.edu/ezproxy/index.cfm?url=

While you can access the same databases through WyoWeb, your access will time-out faster if accessed through WyoWeb.

 

How do I quickly find articles that we have full text access to in PubMed?

Access PubMed through the Libraries’ website.  NOTE: Use Firefox, Safari, Chrome or Opera. The blue FindIT@UW button, to access full text, will not appear when using Internet Explorer. What programs are available for download onto my handheld (iPad/iPhone/Android/Palm/Pocket PC, etc)?

Clinical Pharmacology Mobile – Request a code and instructions from Dr. Hunter

DynaMed – Request a code and instructions from Dr. Hunter

Lexi-Select – Link to download instructions and code is available on the main page of the LexiComp website.  You should access LexiComp through the Libraries, and be sure to use your UW email address.

mobileMicromedex – Available for free from iTunes® App Store or the Android Market for iPhone/iPad/Android; Palm OS and Pocket PC versions available through the Micromedex website.  You should access Micromedex through the Libraries, and be sure to use your UW email address.
