Analyzing Author Impact with Scopus

How do I calculate metrics for my publications in Scopus?

Scopus

1. Go to Scopus.

2. Choose "Author Search." Search by name or ORCID to locate the desired author, then click on the name in the results list to see that author's profile.

NOTE: If you want to make changes to your Scopus author profile, click "Request author detail corrections" on the Profile page, and follow the instructions provided.

The Scopus Author Profile page includes basic information about number of publications, total number of citations and number of citing documents, author h-index, and more.

3. For more detailed information, click "View Citation Overview" to see a graph of citations by year and a list of published items, showing Number of citations per year for each. Note that the default date range for the Citation Overview covers only the past 5 years; this can be adjusted as desired. You can also choose to exclude self-citations and/or citations from books from the overview.
