CNSL 2200: Introduction to Student Leadership: Biography Sources

Where can I find biographical information?

Famous people and leaders are represented in all disciplines; therefore, information about influencers can be found in a wide variety of disciplinary materials as well as in general and historical references.  Information also appears in a wide variety of formats including books and monographs, e-books, encyclopedias, journal articles (of research studies), films and documentaries, photographic collections and archives, and even recorded interviews.  The UW Libraries provides access to a variety of such academic materials.  Additional information may be freely available in online biographical collections.  Regardless of where information is found, it needs to be critically evaluated for quality and appropriateness for your assignment.
