Check Out the Studio Key
- Visit the Help Desk at the start of your reservation
- Present your WyoOne ID card to check out the key and accessories
Record your video(s) in the Studio
- Use a USB drive with plenty of space (4 GB is recommended --1 GB = approximately 10-15 minutes of video footage)
- Insert drive into the USB dock
- Turn on the camera
- Open the Black Magic software program with the desktop icon
- Click on the CAPTURE tab to start/stop recording
- Note: mute the sound bar (if in use) while recording to eliminate the feedback noise
- Review your video using the PC.
When finished recording, go to the PC desktop and drag your video files from the OUTPUT folder to your flash drive.
IMPORTANT: TO AVOID THE POSSIBILITY OF ACCIDENTALLY OVERWRITING YOUR FILES, IMMEDIATELY RENAME YOUR VIDEO FILES.
- Optional - Use the PC workstation to transfer recordings to your University network storage
Shut down the Studio
- Shut down equipment and DO NOT log off workstations at the end of your session
- Turn off the main Studio lights and camera
- Return the Studio key and accessories to the Help Desk
