UW Lab School Research Projects: 1/2 Intro to Research

To find books at the LRC start at the University of Wyoming Libraries website. Next, click into the blue book "catalog" button, and then work through the three main steps.

1. Under "search type" choose keyword, title, or author.
2. Remember to limit your "search scope" to Learning Resource Center, otherwise you'll be looking at books from all over campus!
3. In the "search term" box enter your search terms or keywords.

In library time we've practiced using databases from gowyld.net--the Wyoming State Libraries website. These databases you can also access from home.

 When you search any of the WYLD databases from home you will need to have a valid WYLD log in to find the full-text of the articles you need. Check with LRC staff, or your teacher, if you do not know the log in.
