Welcome to Coe Library, the best place on the University of Wyoming campus! There's a good chance that the library will become something of a second home to you during your time as a student here, and our goal is to make you as comfortable as possible with the many resources, services, and spaces we offer.
Making the transition from high school to college can be overwhelming and intimidating, especially the ways in which you may be required to use the library. Your high school library is going to differ in many ways from your university library, as will the way you will do research. Because of this, we recommend that you get familiar with the library as soon as you can.
First generation students are those whose parents did not complete a college degree. Knowing this definition can help you identify opportunities for supports, scholarships and additional funding for your college education. Many students have questions about the overall college experience, such as questions about housing, academics, financial aid, and of course, the library!
This guide aims to provide answers to many of the questions you may have about the library and library services, resources, and more. And, of course, this guide isn't just for first generation students. Students of all kinds may find the information in this guide useful.

Coe Library is located in Laramie and may be approached from Ivinson Avenue (limited visitor parking), 15th Street (metered and limited visitor parking), or 13th street (metered parking).
