This guide was created to accompany a workshop given by Kristen Landreville and Piper Martin at the University of Wyoming; however, it can be used as a standalone resource. It is one of a very large number of quality guides about this topic available online, created by journalists, professors, librarians, teachers, and others. We do not want to re-create the wheel with this guide, but we did want a place where we could pull together the best of what we found and aim our content at teaching faculty.
This topic is a moving target and it will be an impossible task to update it as the news cycle moves at a breakneck pace. Our goal is to evaluate the guide's content once a month and make changes and updates as appropriate. We will also gladly consider suggestions for inclusion via the form in the box below, with preference given to University of Wyoming faculty and staff.
