Scholarly Communications: UW Libraries Scholarly Communication Initiative
Scholarly Communication Program
Scope and Guiding Principles of the Program
The Scholarly Communication Program supports the creation, transformation, dissemination, and storage of University of Wyoming scholarly output.
UW Libraries will support the academy with the promotion of this program and a culture of learning that includes access to scholarly materials and library services that benefit the state of Wyoming. This is made possible with a technological infrastructure enhanced with regional partnerships to facilitate worldwide access to Wyoming scholarship.
What do I do?
As the Scholarly Communication Librarian I serve as an educational resource and coordinator with appropriate library personnel through wide collaboration with the university community while focusing on the following:
(1) instructional outreach services focused on scholarly communication issues and related topics,
(2) the implementation and collection building of the University of Wyoming Libraries Wyoming Scholars Repository (WySR) and
(3) providing information services that include the support for federally mandated data management plans.
