How do I get books and articles from the library?
If a book or article is not available in full-text online, then use Interlibrary Loanto order the item.
The first time you make a request you will need to fill out a short registration form. Be sure to include the address where you want items mailed and choose Outreach for your pick-up location.
Materials are sent free of charge. Articles are usually delivered electronically and do not need to be returned.
If the item is available at UW Libraries it will be sent within 24 hours.
If the item has to be borrowed from another library it may take 1-3 weeks. Articles are received more quickly than books.
What can I borrow?
All library materials except current periodicals, reference books, and microforms. You may request electronic copies of articles from printed journals, reference books and microforms but we will not send the physical copies.
How can I renew items?

Materials requested by another patron cannot be renewed.
