For librarians and instructors at University of Wyoming

The mission of the instruction program at UW Libraries is to support the teaching, research, and extension mission of the University by teaching information literacy skills in order to promote academic success, personal and professional decision-making, civic participation, and lifelong learning.

Due to staffing limitations, we are unable to provide tours or general orientations to the library.

We prioritize instruction for classes:

  • with significant research assignments
  • that need help using specialized collections, such as special collections or curriculum materials
  • with information literacy-related student learning outcomes, including USP Com 1-3 and FYS
