This guide provides information on obtaining current information on research topics by using technology tools such as RSS feeds and news aggregators.

Keeping Current with Research

It can be difficult for scholars to stay up-to-date with all the new information in an academic field that is published every day. An easy way to stay current is to subscribe to automatic updates using RSS feeds, bookmarking, and social media. These alerts can be set up to collect and send a user links to articles or other information. This guide provides information on how to set up these automatic updates for search topics, as well as provide information on setting up alerts for specific journals.
