American Heritage Center, History Day Resources: Request a Visit

The American Heritage Center takes pride in supporting the educational mission of the University of Wyoming and offers research, and bibliographic instruction assistance to instructors and students.

CLASS VISITS:

If you are interested in having your class take a tour, work with archival resources, or work on History Day projects at the AHC, please let us know by submitting our online form. Visits must be booked at least two weeks in advance of the proposed visit date.

We are able to offer the following services to instructors and classes:

• Bibliographic Classes to assist students in learning how to use the reading room resources and conduct primary research.
• Research Classes to assist students in utilizing primary documents and other collection materials for personal or directed research.
• Tours to acquaint students with the American Heritage Center, its various departments and its resources.

INDIVIDUAL VISITS:

No appointments are required for individual student visits, however, we'll be glad to pre-pull materials. Please contact us (307-766-3756 or ahcref@uwyo.edu) and let us know when you will be arriving, and what specific materials you'd like to review.
